This release introduces Mail Tokens, API Clients, notification batching, and email verification improvements.

Key features:

  • Introduced email-to-card functionality with Mail Tokens for boards and lists
  • Added full Mail Tokens management: create, delete, reset, copy, and activity tracking
  • Added API Clients system with authentication (client_id and client_secret)
  • Introduced API permissions system with grouped permissions and server-side checks
  • Added endpoints for everything: creating cards and managing labels, tasks, attachments, and memberships via API
  • Added Email Notifications system with support for various notification types, email formatting, and localization
  • Implemented notification batching system with cron support
  • Added email verification system with resend option and user preference integration
  • Added activity tracking for Mail Tokens and API Clients
  • Improved notifications system with new types, better grouping, and email delivery handling
  • Improved translations system with split locales and shared packages
  • Introduced new shared packages (locales, enums, utils) and improved code structure
  • Added UI improvements including icons, popups, selectors, and better activity rendering

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed Mail Token routes, update handling, and board/list associations
  • Fixed sidebar and UI issues related to Mail Tokens and permissions
  • Fixed notification counts, grouping, and visibility across users
  • Fixed activity rendering issues and incorrect messages
  • Fixed import/export issues and board import bugs
  • Fixed language handling, translation coverage, and test issues
  • Fixed websocket broadcast inconsistencies for actions and notifications
  • Fixed security issues including user enumeration and path traversal vulnerabilities

Other updates:

  • Multiple dependency updates and security patches
  • Refactored large parts of notifications, activities, and API logic for maintainability
  • Improved performance of notifications, batching, and activity rendering
  • Switched to pnpm workspaces and reorganized project structure
  • Added webpack optimizations including code splitting
  • Updated CI, tests, Docker setup, and release automation
